Do you photograph internationally?
Where are you based?
Absolutely! We love to travel all over the globe and this is one of the many reasons we love to photograph weddings, as it connects us to gorgeous people all over! If you’re thinking about having a destination wedding, get in touch and we can work out the finer details. We’ve shot destinations in Europe and NZ, so have loads of helpful information for planning a wedding or elopement O/S!
We are in Naarm, working and living on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. The studio is located in Fitzroy and all of our packages are inclusive of travel within 50km outside of the Melbourne CBD. All KMs outside of this radius will be charged according to the ATO guidelines. We're always happy travel absolutely anywhere to capture loved up honeys.
How will I receive my images/video?
Do you capture elopements?
Your images and/or films are delivered via an online gallery where you can download, share and also order through the built-in print store. A couple of weeks after that, you will receive a beautiful package in the mail with a little thank you from us. (The online gallery link expires after two years. We have back-ups but please download your own copy!)
If you and your partner want to run off and have a private ceremony with just the two of you (and possibly your absolute nearest and dearest), then we would be honoured to document your intimate ceremony! Our prices for elopements are all one-off quotes depending on location, time, accomodation and travel costs so please get in touch with all the details so we can figure out a special price for you.
We don't want our photos on socials…
How long will it take to get everything?
We get your sneak peeks to you within a few days of the wedding!
It then takes 4-6 weeks to receive your wedding photos and/or films. We put a lot of love and care into each image and it can sometimes take longer during peak wedding season in summer.
If you would like your photos with you ASAP, you can order the priority option to fast-track your gallery to you within a week.
While sharing images helps us to connect with more couples, at the end of the day this is your wedding. If you’re uncomfortable with your photos being shared on our social media platforms or being submitted to online or print features then we will respect your wishes and not post anything.
What happens if disaster strikes?
Do you offer payment plans?
Due to the precarious times we live in, anything can happen, and we're prepared for that! The Lavender Haze team is big enough for photographers and videographers to be covered in the event of an emergency or C-19 related illness. We have backups at the ready for every one of our couples to ensure your day is covered!
We are always happy to organise a payment plan to suit every couple. Usually, we take a 40% non-refundable deposit and sort the remaining balance the best way that suits you.
Can I print my photos myself?
What if I have to change the date?
We would love you to print your photos and we’ve made it super easy; anyone with access to the online gallery can order through the built-in print store! Yes, your high-res images can be printed from home, but we highly recommend ordering through the online gallery as our colour profile is calibrated to the printers. This way we can guarantee you'll get the most beautiful results with framing options, too. It’s so easy to order and they’re delivered straight to your door. Win-Win!
Life is complicated and the unexpected is to be expected. Your initial deposit is non-refundable, however, we will always do our best to try and accomodate unexpected changes and are more than willing to discuss alternate options with you. Since C-19, we've been able to help couples find new dates and in some cases, totally re-imagine a wedding day into an elopement depending on circumstances. We're here for you no matter what!
