Q: HOW DO YOU DECIDE ON THE 'PERFECT' PHOTOGRAPHER FOR US?

A: You bet. When we say we care about community, we mean it. There's no single way to celebrate a union, and the diverse intersectionality in couples is something we embrace! While we specialise in alternative love fests, we've captured a wide variety of traditional and blended ceremonies, from Orthodox weddings to big Nikahs, vibrant Poruwas, and cuties under Chuppahs. We've learned that many of our couples over the years want to celebrate their love in their unique way while also honouring family and tradition, which we absolutely adore.

Q: DO YOU CAPTURE TRADITIONAL/RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES?

What you see across our website and socials is exactly what you get. We promise that on your day, you'll feel relaxed and there won't be any awkward poses—unless that's your thing, like a Step Brothers-style shoot. Seriously though, our team photographers are great at keeping you engaged, providing gentle prompts on how/where to move during your portraits. It's all about good direction, not stiff posing.

Q: WE HATE AWKWARD POSING, HOW DOES OUR PHOTOGRAPHER HELP US FEEL COMFY?

Then, review quick portfolio galleries of photographers who match your energy. After that, you can take your time exploring their full galleries before making any decisions. If you'd like to meet them over Zoom before booking, that's an option too.

Q: DO WE GET TO SEE A FULL GALLERY BEFORE WE BOOK?

A: Full galleries typically take 4-6 weeks to complete, and during peak season, it might be a bit longer. We take great care in hand-picking and editing every photo individually—no AI involved. Good things take time, and we’re just as excited to get your photos to you! Video trailers are ready for you within a fortnight, while your highlights film and full-length videos can be a couple of months. Again, everything is done in-house and not outsourced so you can trust that in this time we're meticulously perfecting your flicks.

Q: HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY FULL GALLERY AND/OR VIDEOS?

Without diving too deep into film geek territory (unless you're into that—feel free to ask in your enquiry!), we’ve divided our style options into three sections: "90s, 80s, or 70s." Here’s a quick rundown: 90s evokes the nostalgic look of childhood photos or club memories; 80s offers classic and elegant vibes; and 70s brings vintage charm with that heavy-grain look. You can choose one, two, or all three styles and specify if you prefer B&W, colour, or a mix. We’ll then provide you with a cost estimate. That’s what we mean by bespoke packages—crafting your day to fit your unique vision.

Q: HOW DOES FILM WORK? WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR OFFERINGS?

Super 8 films look like how it felt. Our simple add-on includes one roll of film shot throughout your package duration, digitised in HD with your fave song played over. Each roll is about 3 minutes long. If your day is longer, you can purchase an additional roll, and we’ll edit it to extend the footage to around 6 minutes. It’s the perfect complement to a photo package, as our photographers can also carry the Super 8 camera and film throughout your day, seamlessly accompanying your photography. If you opt for video alone, the best moments can be included in your highlights film. Combine both, and you’ll have comprehensive coverage for an unforgettable day.

Q: WHAT ABOUT SUPER 8?

A: Of course! Our hourly rate is $450 inc GST and can be added onto any package. For example, if you want 6 hours, we can add two more onto 'Just Our Vows'. If you're planning a multiple-day event, we ask you get in touch for a custom quote to suit your needs. You can mix-and-match photo and video packages, as well.

Q: WE NEED LESS/MORE HOURS, CAN WE CUSTOMISE OUR PACKAGE?

A: Once we've setup a meeting after your initial enquiry and you're sure that we're the right fit for you, we'll secure your photographer and/or video team by locking in your date with a 50% non-refundable deposit. Payment plans are available if you'd prefer to split your fee into chunks - we're pretty flexible with card payments or EFTs as we like to help all our couples have access to incredible wedding photography.
